The Indian Army has recently announced a modification to the recruitment procedure for Junior Commissioned Officer (JCOs), Agniveers, and other ranks. This new system is expected to streamline the recruitment process and make it simpler and more efficient.
The new recruitment process will consist of a Computer-based Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) that will be conducted before the Recruitment Rally. Registration Dates
Online registration for applications is now open from February 16, 2023, to March 15, 2023. Candidates can apply as per their age, educational qualification, physical criteria, and other qualification requirements (QRs). Notifications for registration have been uploaded on the Join Indian Army website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
The Computer-based Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE) is likely to be conducted at approximately 175-180 examination centers all over India between April 17 to April 30, 2023.
Instructions
Educational videos on ‘How to Register’ and ‘How to appear’ in the Online Entrance Exam have been uploaded on the Join Indian Army website, www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and on YouTube.
Fees
The cost of the fee for the Online Common Entrance Exam (Online CEE) is Rs 500 per candidate, and 50% of the cost will be borne by the Indian Army. Candidates are required to pay Rs 250 during online registration. They can also choose five places to appear for the exam.
Recruitment Process
The recruitment process will be carried out in three stages.
Stage One – In stage one, all candidates who have registered and applied online on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in will undergo a Computer-based Online Common Entrance Exam (CEE).
Stage Two – The shortlisted candidates will be called for a recruitment rally at a location decided by respective Army Recruitment Office (AROs) where they will undergo a Physical Fitness Test and Physical Measurement Test.
Stage Three – Finally, the selected candidates will undergo Medical Tests.
